There is something for everyone at Polly’s Dock
All tours include a kayak paddle and safety lesson. Price includes a kayak, paddle and coast guard approved personal flotation device for a 2-hour tour unless specified otherwise.
- Fun Tour-Mordecai loop- Family and friends can enjoy a relaxing paddle around the ecologically significant Mordecai Island. Join expert guide and naturalist for an introduction to kayaking and the Barnegat Bay ecosystem.
- Clam Trail- Follow that Clam- This package includes a visit to an active clam up-weller to see thousands of baby clams before they are planted in the estuary. Learn the significance of clams and the process to restore them to the Barnegat Bay. Price includes a 1 ½ kayak tour.
- Power Paddle- For the more athletic minded bay goers. This intense paddle will include a paddle technique and safety lesson. With a brief ecological backdrop the participants will race, sprint and power paddle for a sustained heart rate and arm, core and back strength training. Stretch on a local bay beach included.
- Self Design Science Group Tour-Pre-scheduled science tours for students, civic groups and non profit organizations. These trips can be designed to meet the needs of your group. Our expert naturalist can accommodate any topic or level of ecosystem based lesson, teacher training or scout badge requirements. book clubs, birding groups and photography clubs welcome. Prices will vary according to schedule and number of participants. A non-profit group discount will apply. Seining is extra and needs to be pre-arranged. Field journaling/sketch programs available.
Moonrise tours- Max 8 adults—according to the tides and the weather. Check for dates and details. Sunset tours- Couples, photographers and bird watchers welcome. Wednesdays throughout the summer. 6-8pm—custom trips can be arranged

Tours are available daily except on Tuesdays 8:30 am- 1030 a.m. or 5:30 p.m. -7:30 p.m.
